I hope everyone had a great holiday! I had a very nice Christmas and I was happy to be spending time with my family and friends. It was especially fun to see my grandson Mario so excited about Christmas! Mario will be 3 years old on January 2nd, so there’s still more excitement to come!

Now that Christmas is over, it’s time to really focus on catching up. The Christmas holiday has lasted for 4 days now instead of one, (including Christmas Eve), with lots of unexpected “surprise” visits! I was expecting to be able to at least accomplish a few things with my blog and work a little on getting some traffic during that time, but it didn’t work out that way. I do have to admit that there were times I felt like saying “just give me an hour or two, I need to do a few things on my blog and I need to get some traffic!” Unfortunately most of my family and friends don’t really understand what I’m doing online, and they have felt neglected by me lately and wanted attention. Family and friends are very important, so that was where my attention had to be!

The first thing I will be doing to catch up is to answer any older emails and comments since I don’t want to take any longer in responding.

The second will be to apply what I learned about RSS feeds from Garry Parkes’ first issue of The Profit Pulling Project, which by the way, Garry did a great job with!

And the last thing on the list for tonight will be a post about my plan for getting traffic to my site, plus one or two other posts.

I’m HOPING to be caught up in the next few days!

If you need to catch up, remember that focusing is very important! Just concentrate on one thing at a time and you won’t feel so overwhelmed while getting caught up.

Happy Holidays!

    Hey Lori,

Happy New Year, can really relate to what you’re saying. I just fortunate that I am working abroad so I am not inundated with relatives from all parts to make me entertain them. Nevertheless it’s a great hopeful season, remembering that building a business is like a marathon and eating an elephant.

It’s nice to get everything right, but leave room for learning and the unexpected. You’ll do fine Lori. Just make sure your learning is following a plan and accelerate. :)

    All the Best!

    Regards,

    Hi Lori!

Glad you had a good xmas. Its the kids that really make it magical isn’t it. Well I didn’t think that at 4:30am when our sons woke us up on chrstmas day but the rest of the day was great.

I completely understand about lack of time. I have been neglecting my poor blog for too long now the the festive season etc. and now to top it off my laptop has gone kaput!! I have just managed to borrow one for now whilst mine is being fixed.

Well heres to a prosperous and traffic generating new year.
