You need a mentor to teach you the ropes!

If you’ve been online for a while and feel stuck, if you want to take your existing online business to the next level, or even if you’re a total newbie, then a good mentor is what you need. I was really stuck and working so hard to build my business and make money online. The result was I ended up exhausted, confused, and surrounded by tons of papers with “opportunities” claiming to make me “rich“.

Well, that’s not going to happen, you won’t get rich. But you can make a living online and you can certainly make a lot of money. That’s up to you though, depending on how much work your willing to do to make it happen. Yes, making money online does involve work! Having a mentor can get you past the learning curve though and help you get there much faster. Having a mentor put me in the right direction so I could finally stop going in circles.

In November of 2008 I became one of Alex Jeffrey’s coaching students and it’s changed my life! I had been online for quite a while and hadn’t gotten anywhere, except lost in “information overload”. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

Hi Everyone,

I haven’t posted in a couple of days because I was busy making my first 2 videos, now I am working on the tons of other things I’ve neglected in the past week!

I REALLY like making videos! Am I surprised? Yes, VERY surprised! I’ve never liked public speaking, I’m picky about pictures of myself, I don’t like the way my voice sounds on recordings, etc.. But, oh well! Apparently none of that is going to stop me now… I’m becoming a video addict!

If it hadn’t been for listening to Maria Andros, (aka the Video Marketing Queen) speak I would have kept putting off making videos indefinitely. I can honestly say that she is the reason I became so involved with getting started on video marketing. So, thanks Maria!

I have to admit it’s a bit hard trying to “talk” to a camera. I did over 50 re-takes for my first video! The second video was only 10 re-takes. I’m a little nervous in both videos, but there was a big improvement from the first video to the second. So the way I figure it, I can only get better at it, not worse! (My very first take was sooo awful!)

I will be doing a 3rd video today. One of my friends is going to film the video, so it will feel like I’m talking to her instead of a camera! I’m interested to see how much of a difference that will make.

Video Marketing is such an awesome way to get your name out there!

Hi Everyone,

I am really excited to be starting Module 2 of Alex Jeffreys coaching tonight! So far I’ve been very happy with what Alex has been teaching us, and I know tonight’s coaching session will be just as great as the first session.

All of the other students are very nice and everyone is so willing to help each other. It feels good to be able to give support and to receive support from everyone who is sharing this journey to success!

I’m really looking forward to learning how to build a list. List building is one of the areas that I’ve had a very hard time with. I have no doubt that I will learn how though, Alex is THAT good.

If you have any type of internet marketing business then you know that often times it seems like there are countless tasks that need to be done to keep your business running. But there is a problem that most marketers do not realize is plaguing them.

The problem is that there is to much to do.

Which brings up the question: If there is to much to do then how can you have a successful online marketing business.

That is the question of the hour and there is a simple answer to that question.

But for many online marketers the answer is not easy to implement.

If you want your business to surpass 97% of other online businesses and actually succeed then the answer that you need to realize for that question is…

Are you ready. Here it comes. Please do not discount the simplicity of it. If you take it to heart it could change your businesses permanently.

Here is what you need to do, here is the answer.

You need to step back and take some time and figure out the top five tasks that contribute to the overall bottom line of your business.

That’s right, just five tasks.

Why just five? Because after five you start to get overwhelmed and stressed out and then you end up getting very little done.

If and only if you are able to complete those five tasks should you do other things that contribute to the overall bottom line.

Most likely you will have time every week to do other things but that time should be secondary to the top five things.

If you take the time needed to examine and figure out what those five tasks are most likely they will have something to do with traffic generation, maybe free, maybe paid or maybe both. You’ll probably also realize that another one is related to product creation or finding products to promote if you are an affiliate, maybe some forum posting and so on.

Whatever you do you have to develop the descipline to stay with these five tasks until they are finished. At first you might find that you don’t have any extra time to do other things after you finish these tasks but in time you will become much more proficient and you will almost always have time to spare.

Building a successful online business comes down to getting the things done that matter the most to the bottom line of your business.

If you try and do a hundred things to make your business better you probably won’t get one thing done as it should be. It’s your choice really. What kind of business do you want to have?
