It’s been a while since I’ve posted due to some unforseen difficulties and my recent move to Florida. Anyway, I’m back and have been wanting to share a story with you that will hopefully alert Internet Marketing Newbies as to how important it is to read the fine print when purchasing and/or joining work at home opportunities online.

A couple of months ago a friend of mine went online looking for work she could do from home. She came across a work at home opportunity that looked good to her and was seemingly inexpensive. She paid the small amount to join and got started on trying to figure out what to do to start making money. A few days later she called me and said she thought she had messed something up with the blog she was given and I told her I’d see if I could help her fix it. When she told me the name of the program and said that it cost her under $2.00 I asked if she had read the TOS “Terms of Service”. She said she did and that the $1.97 was all they were charging her.

When I went into her account for this program the first thing I did was pull up the TOS (Terms of Service). Well, in the TOS it did state that they charge $1.97 for a 7 day trial period. But, after the trial period the cost would be $69.00/mo.! Of course I called her right away so she could cancel before the 7 days was up (knowing she couldn’t afford it).

So why did my friend think that she had read the TOS? Well, a lot of sales pages have a little box for you to check agreeing to the Terms of Service. It’s possible to think that what you’re reading above the box you have to check is what the terms are, but they aren’t the terms. Under the box there is usually a tiny link in fine print you can click on to read the TOS (although it could be somewhere else on the page). This link is easily overlooked since the sales page states that all you need to pay is $1.97. Well, there isn’t much out there for $1.97, so most likely you get a trial period then a monthly fee immediately after. Always, always click on the TOS link and read the terms.

Some sales pages will have a clause in fine print stating the trial period and monthly fee (this could be located anywhere on the page), so make sure to look closely and read everything on the page before purchasing.

I’m not saying that any of this is illegal, just that it’s a little deceiving, especially if you’re new at internet marketing.

You don’t want to end up overdrawing on your bank account or spending money you don’t have because of overlooking the TOS agreement. And yes, I admit it, this happened to me plenty of times when I was just starting out!

So, remember to….READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE AND EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE SALES PAGE BEFORE PURCHASING! This will save you a lot of headaches and money!

Take care,

Lori

Co-written by: Drywall Panel Hoist. Freelance data entry is a job that involves independent work for a small or large business without being an employee.

As part of this kind of activity, the freelancer will hire his/her services without any contract on a longer or shorter period of time. The advantage of such occupations is that they can be conducted from home, allowing a high schedule flexibility and an independent, individual planning of work. The only negative aspect about freelance data entry is that many of the companies that need such work done are not always that prompt with payments, not to mention the risk of scams that hides in most online job offers.

For example, you should be on your guard when a company needs freelance data entry work but conditions it on the purchase of a kit. Will the terms of the agreement be respected to the line? Freelance data entry work has to face this risk particularly when it is offered on the international market. Many scam reports speak of ghost businesses hiring the services of freelancers and failing to pay them on work completion.

Always research on the status of a particular business, before taking any freelance data entry job. It is common practice for frauds to disappear with work before making the payment. According to many experts it is very difficult to find freelance data entry jobs that would be well paid and safe from the worker’s point of view. Solutions do exist for work crisis and they often come from special websites that intermediate business relationship and jobs in exchange for a commission taken from the transaction price. A fine example here of online intermediation for work projects from around the world is a web site like www.rentacoder.com.

Companies from all over the world place bid requests with work ads. Freelance data entry is one of the commonly requested tasks. The good part is that the freelancer is sure to be paid if he/she does a good job and respects all the aspects of the work agreement. When a certain project gets assigned, the buyer or hirer sends the money to the web site, with the funds release on job completion.

Should there be a dispute between the two parties, the web site offers impartial arbitration and escrows funds accordingly.

With Help Of: Drywall Panel Hoist. Instead of paying employees and health insurance, lots of companies prefer to give freelancers data entry work at home and avoid such costs.

People who choose data entry work at home are either seeking an alternative to the stressful office job, or need a parallel revenue generation source. Stay-home moms, retired people, students and lots of other categories would like to make some extra cash in a stress free environment. The availability of data entry jobs depends on the amount of information that companies have to process or handle on a current basis; generally speaking, such jobs are actually a permanent necessity.

The problem is that many businesses are not willing to send business information to someone they get in contact with only online. Most of the time, data entry work at home jobs are filled by people living in the same geographical area with a company. And this kind of employment has a double advantage for both parties involved: the person hired to do the work is safer from scams, while the company benefits from the possibility to check whom they are working with. Mutual trust no longer makes the the rule for business relationships particularly due to the incredible amount of frauds you’ll come across online in this field of activity.

It may take a while before you find some data entry work at home opportunity either part time or full time. Web masters are usually hiring people to do the manual work required for site promotion and advertising, because such jobs take time and effort, which they otherwise use for the updating and optimization of the web pages. Freelancing data entry work at home is therefore widely advertised on job boards in forums. The access to such media is free of charge, and there are significantly less chances of scams. Yet, it doesn’t harm to remain on your guard!

Other spots where you can find good data entry work at home opportunities are the web pages of various organizations. In case you prefer any of their programs, you will constantly receive updates about the work availability and the most suitable ways to make money as part of the organization.

If we are to trust some experts, such data entry work at home represents the most solid background for online jobs with a decent payment level. You won’t be making a fortune, but you won’t be starving either!

Hi Everyone,

I am really excited to be starting Module 2 of Alex Jeffreys coaching tonight! So far I’ve been very happy with what Alex has been teaching us, and I know tonight’s coaching session will be just as great as the first session.

All of the other students are very nice and everyone is so willing to help each other. It feels good to be able to give support and to receive support from everyone who is sharing this journey to success!

I’m really looking forward to learning how to build a list. List building is one of the areas that I’ve had a very hard time with. I have no doubt that I will learn how though, Alex is THAT good.

So, keep following us while we learn!
